Pastor Michael Black, Bio

Pastor Michael Black spent his youth and much of his adult life living in the Pacific Northwest, in Washington state, but identifies as being an Arizonan, as he spent his high school years living on a ranch just west of Phoenix, between Buckeye and Avondale, back in the days when they still had property out there.

He became a Christian in 1986, but like so many young Christians, he never understood the gravity of that transformation until several years later when he began to feel the convictions of his faith.

In 2002, Mike became active in the church and began serving in various ministry and leadership positions for the church he was a member of. Ultimately, this culminated in his calling to be a Pastor in 2015.

Pastor Mike has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington, but after being called into Gospel Ministry in 2015, Pastor Mike attended Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity in Christian Leadership and began filling the pulpit Bi-vocationally ever since; Ultimately becoming the pastor at Quincy Baptist Church in 2020.

In addition to his responsibilities as Pastor, Pastor Mike has also been serving as an executive member of the Coulee Baptist Association of Central Washington for the better part of seven years.

Pastor Mike currently resides in Wenatchee, Washington, and lives with his wife of nearly 23 years, Amanda, who is a teacher at a private Christian school. Together, they have two adult children; Brandon, who is a student at the University of Washington in Seattle, and Madison, who is a student at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
